BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream

BRTC Jasmine Water BB cream is the first BB cream that I bought and wanted to try. If you want to know what BB cream is, see my previous post.

You may apply a moisturizer prior to BB cream application if you have dry skin. You only need a dime size, then apply small dabs on your whole face, and blend in (dab it on your face).

From below pic, the BB cream color has a light color. Once you blend the cream, you will see the pinkish color. Just tap your fingers on it and it will adjust to your skin tone.

After a few minutes, the BB cream sets perfectly on my skin. You can also tap the bb cream on your skin to absorb it. That way, you will get a more flawless natural look.

  • The tube is very light-weight and can bring anywhere
  • Non-greasy
  • Non-sticky
  • Good Oil control
  • Smoothens your face
  • No dry or flaky area on my face
  • Good for acne-prone, sensitive, oily, and combination skin
  • Whitening properties: it will lighten your dark spots, not the whole face
  • Wrinkle repair
  • SPF 30
  • It's hard to squeeze
  • Since the tube is light-weight, it seems that there's not much BB cream inside the tube
  • The cream color is kind of pinkish and may not be advisable for dark skin

I will still try other BB creams on my list and will keep you posted for comparison. Have you tried BRTC BB creams? How was it?

Hi Liza! Does it have a grey cast after application? The only bb cream that I've tried so far is skin79 vip gold and it leaves a grey cast. But after it oxidizes, which take several minutes, it will ultimately matches the skin.

Hi Ann! Yes, it does have grey color after application, but after 20 minutes or so, then it matches my skin..not sure though with other skin tones.. because I tried it on husband's tan skin, and it does not look good. LOL! Thanks! I heard a lot of good reviews on skin79 and would like to try it!

I'm using BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream and it probably takes 5 - 15 minutes to matche my skin tone. I compared it from Garnier's BB Cream tester at Guardian and didn't liked the way it looked on my skin. Garnier's product left a powder like make-up unlike BRTC which just makes my skin remain natural yet even skin tone.

Too bad that BRTC is no longer available at Guardian - I don't know what to do when I run out! #TeeHee

I use Etude Precious Mineral BB cream. Ruthie and Aila liked it too!

Hi Malen, that's on my list too! I heard good reviews of Etude. How do you apply it? do you just dab it or apply it like a regular moisturizer?

Hello Liz!

I recently ordered this product as my first BB cream and I was just wondering how often I should apply it throughout the day? Also, some sites have mentioned that this product might not be good for acne-prone skin, what is your view on this?

Hi T.C., glad that you ask. I'm also acne prone. So far, I don't get acne using this, and it seems that my face is clearer the next day after using this. Just make sure to clean your face throughly before you apply/sleep. When using this, I only use a very small amount of the cream. I use half of the size on the picture above for my whole face. I only use this once a day. In order to last longer, I put a small amount of oil free moisturizer, then after 10-15 mins, I pat BRTC BB cream all over my face and neck. Then after 15-20 mins, I use Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder (good for acne prone too) and pressed the powder on my nose, cheeks, and forehead so that the BRTC cream will last longer. Hope this helps. TIP: Make sure not to use big amount of BB cream on your face as it will look cakey. On the first few minutes of applying it, your face might look white, but it will adjust to your skin tone after a few minutes.
